The first visit can simply be an introduction
The child walks into the room, sits in the chair, looks at the instruments - and goes home. No intervention at all. The purpose of that visit is that the next one is not frightening.
Children's appointments are run by Dr Iryna Milovanova. If an orthodontist is needed, there is one in the team, so you will not have to move to another clinic halfway.
What we do for children
Hygiene for three age groups, prevention and treatment of milk teeth - at the child's pace, not the schedule's.
Professional hygiene, 0-7 years
Gentle hand or ultrasonic cleaning, removal of soft deposits, polishing of milk teeth and teaching hygiene as a game.
Professional hygiene, 7-12 years
The mixed dentition period: cleaning, polishing and teaching again - habits are rewritten at this age.
Professional hygiene, 12 years and older
Permanent teeth and hard deposits. Hygiene for teenagers is no easier than for adults.
Caries treatment of a milk tooth
Anaesthesia, rubber dam isolation, filling. A milk tooth is treated, not left to fall out: a permanent one is growing beneath it.
Fissure sealing
The chewing surface is sealed and caries has nowhere to start. One tooth takes up to 30 minutes.
Fluoridation of all teeth
Enamel cleaning, fluoride varnish and care recommendations. The cheapest prevention there is.
What parents ask
At what age should a child first come?
The first examination is done once the first teeth appear - it treats nothing and simply builds the habit. After that, every six months unless the doctor says otherwise.
My child is afraid. What now?
Come for an introduction. It is a full visit without procedures: the child explores the room, sits in the chair and meets the doctor.
Do milk teeth need treatment?
Yes. A permanent tooth is forming underneath, and inflammation next to it is a risk for what has not grown yet.
How much is a first visit for a child?
If it is an introduction, no treatment is carried out. Preventive hygiene for the youngest is from 800 to 1 000 UAH and takes an hour.
